Step 1: Scheduling Your Appointment
Call our office and our scheduling team will find the earliest available time that fits your schedule. Most patients receive a same-week appointment. We will also verify your insurance coverage before your visit so there are no billing surprises.
Step 2: Preparing for Your Scan
Before your appointment, our team will provide clear preparation instructions specific to your scan type. In most cases, preparation is minimal. You may be asked to avoid certain foods, remove metal accessories, or wear comfortable clothing.
Step 3: Arriving at Our Facility
When you arrive at Aggieland Imaging, you will be greeted by our front desk team and guided through a brief check-in process. Our facility is designed to feel welcoming and unhurried, with no large hospital crowds or long waiting room delays.
Step 4: During Your MRI Scan
You will be positioned comfortably on our 1.5T Siemens wide bore scanner. Our trained MRI technologist will explain exactly what is happening throughout the scan and remain in communication with you at all times. The wide-bore design accommodates patients of all body types and significantly reduces feelings of discomfort or anxiety.
Step 5: After Your Scan
Once your scan is complete, your MRI images are reviewed by a qualified radiologist and the report is sent directly to your referring physician. Our team will let you know what to expect in terms of timing so you are never left wondering about next steps.
